Shipping Times (How long after making a payment can I receive my order)

All orders typically take 5-7 working days to process for normal shipping. However customized products take an average of 8-10 working days to process. Delivery times differ depending on the location. Once a customer places their order, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. Express shipping takes 2 – 4 business days for normal products. However, customized products for express shipping take 5-7 business days to process (exclusive of delivery date). Express Shipping orders are fulfilled through DHL.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive tracking details to track your order till it gets to you. We are not responsible for postal delays, we advise you to wait till you receive your orders before booking salon appointments. For now, our local pickups are in Halifax, Canada. Kindly reach us on support@curlsandcuts.com or any of our social media platforms to ask for other forms of arranging for local pickup.

How can I estimate how much I will pay for shipping

We have visual pointers on the page to help you calculate your shipping costs automatically. Upon checkout, shipping options and costs are provided Shipping is calculated based on weight. Each product has varying weights and this determines the cost. For some areas, we have flat shipping rate fees.

Shipping Delay

Please contact the shipping company with the information sent to you with the shipping details. We do not take responsibility if our logistic companies delay or damage your package, as it is 100% out of our company’s control. CurlsandCuts is not responsible for any of the following reasons:

  • Incorrect or fraudulent shipping or billing information.
  • Package theft upon delivery (especially if the package was successfully delivered by our logistics partners).
  • Inability to receive package on delivery
  • Unavailability to receive package when logistics company delivers the product.

Shipping Medium

Shipping for special sale seasons such as Black Friday, Christmas sales, pop-up Sales, etc. might take longer due to increased demand in preparing bulk stocks and demands on our logistical partners. Please bear with us.

I ordered online and want to cancel my order

To cancel your orders, contact support@curlsandcuts.com or contact us on WhatsApp (+2347030448685) not more than 3 hours after your order was placed. After this time we might be unable to cancel your order, change your address, or change your order. If we are successfully able to cancel your order, a $20 charge or 10% of the item value depending on which is greater will be subtracted from your refund to cover for costs incurred. If you request for a package to be delivered to a new location after it has been shipped, transfer charges will be deducted if it applies.

Return Policy

We want our customers to have the utmost pleasant experience when shopping with us, hence, if you are not happy with a recent purchase we are always happy to accept or attend to a request for an exchange or provide store credit. We offer quality products and provide each product page with the necessary information needed for a customer to make an informed decision on purchasing a product, therefore, we cannot offer cash refunds on a purchase. If you think your item is defective or is not as shown in the pictures and videos watched, you can exchange it as long as you:

  • don’t cut the ties,
  • manipulate the hair in any way. 

We must be alerted via email or any of our social media platforms of a need to exchange or return the item within 7 days of delivery. Our Website has a return date policy of 7days (from the date the package our facility) for local pickup and same country of our pickup locations and, 14days for international locations. Orders will be returned back to the customer should they go against our return policy. Shipping fees do not qualify for returns.

NB: Items bought on sale or in situations where a discount was applied cannot be exchanged unless the full price is paid. Kindly check product information to determine which products are on sale.

Will I be responsible for shipping of my Returns or exchange

Items that are exchanged do not include the shipping fee paid for the original order.  Delivery charges will be paid by you. We will not give refunds for delivery charges incurred during original delivery, return, or onward shipping charges of exchanged items.

How do I get my exchanged item or store credit

Email us immediately at support@curlsandcuts.com within 7days of receiving the delivered products to process an exchange. We will need to receive your hair and examine it before your request for an exchange is approved. An email is sent to notify you that we have received your returned item and we reserve the right to decide whether the product is eligible for exchange. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your request.

If your request for an exchange is approved, you can request a new product of the same price, get the same product exchanged, or get store credit that can be redeemed at any time. Please bear in mind that the time to approve an exchange can take as long as 30 days after you ship your hair back to us.

There are certain situations where an exchange or store credit will not be granted (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition
  • Damaged items or items have missing parts for reasons not due to our error. 
  • if the item returned goes against our return time policy or if we were not alerted of a need to exchange or return the item within 7 days of delivery.

CurlsandCuts will not cover the cost of shipping for an exchange. Please do not send your purchase back to any address other than the address provided by our team via email.
